St Benedict’s veterinary hospital was established in 1950s by Michael Mc Dermott, the uncle of one of the practice principles Brian. Brian’s father worked as a vet and partner in the practice for over 50 years.

Brian joined his uncle and father in 1992 and the practice has steadily expanded to meet the needs of our clients. In 2017, Eimear became a partner in the practice and she and Brian continue to provide an exceptional service to continue to provide an exceptional service to large and small animal customers in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
Our recently refurbished, purpose built clinic is located on the Pearse Road in Sligo town and we are delighted to be able to offer the most up to date facilities and procedures to the animals we treat. Free off road parking is also available.
